Detailed Description
Unlike standard price charts, point and figure (P&F) charts are based on volatility instead of time. P&F charts are the oldest charting technique in the U.S., but the computer revolution has largely ignored them; they have remained virtually unchanged since the 1940s.
This indifference presents a huge opening for active traders to exploit, because point and figure charts present a clearer picture of the battle between supply and demand.
