Combining classical technical analysis with CVD
AT-May 2006-5
Adding the Cumulative Volume Delta to other analysis tools can help pinpoint entry and exit points.
Price: $4.25

Detailed Description

The Cumulative Volume Delta (TT CVD) indicator displays the running difference between volume traded on the ask (buying pressure) and volume traded on the bid (selling pressure). TT CVD is designed to highlight whether market participants are accumulating market or unloading it. (CVD is discussed in "The CVD indicator: Revealing accumulation and distribution," Active Trader, December 2005.)

This discussion shows how to combine well-known analysis techniques with the TT CVD indicator to trade short-term swings in the E-Mini Nasdaq 100 and E-Mini S&P 500 futures.
