This trading system uses the Internal Bar Strength (IBS) indicator, a momentum tool originally tested in the October 2005 Trading System Lab, and is based on the price relationships of an individual price bar. This system applies the IBS indicator to both individual stocks and a composite index of the 17 stocks that comprise our test portfolio. The trade rules are based on crossovers of both indicator values.
