In the conclusion to a two-part interview, Wall Street risk specialist Aaron Brown talks about what he has learned from the markets and cards, and discusses popular attitudes toward risk and volatility.
|
Detailed Description
In his book The Poker Face of Wall Street, Aaron Brown looks at the evolution of card games and derivatives markets in the U.S. through the eyes of a veteran of both Wall Street and the card table. Brown, head of credit risk architecture at Morgan Stanley, brings to bear his experience on the Street, in academics, and at high-stakes poker tables in exploring the nature of markets, risk taking, and entrepreneurial gain in dynamic economies. In this follow-up to last month’s interview (" Aaron Brown: Behind the Street’s poker face"), Brown discusses the changes that occurred in the options market after the 1987 stock market crash.
